Thanks Kate! It may be the only pic of me I kinda' like. *lol* Some bands are legends in their own mind, but the Stones truly have it! They said breaking up was never an option.
Fifty years?? Wow! How old does that make us?? :-)) I love this song, and I love the photo of that cute young thing in her t-shirt even more! The years haven't changed you all that much, Annie! :-)
Essentially, I am very much that same girl, inside anyway. Hopefully wiser, but in my heart & soul I remain very "me". We saw the Stones in 1981, in CO. We were newlyweds, living in a van.
I like some of their songs. My favorite being Drift Away.
ReplyDeletehappy 50th to them!
They didn't write that one, but their little known version of it was very well done! Good choice!
DeleteThey really are legends in their own lifetime. Cute picture of you, too.

ReplyDeleteYes, they are legends...genius in what they created. It is amazing that they can still perform, and well!
DeleteLove the picture ... Love the Rolling Stones. Great Post!
ReplyDeleteAndrea
Thanks! I tried to find an "acceptable" video. They can be a bit wild at times, so..."Wild Horses". It is one of my favourites.
DeleteIt's amazing how old they are...love the photos...I can sort of imagine you rocking away!
ReplyDeletePatty, that is the coolest comment! Thanks!
DeleteI will admit that I a clean, very conservative rocker (no "additives" of any kind. But, yeah...that's me!

DeleteHaving some trouble posting comments today so I'll post one comment for two posts:
ReplyDelete1) I never got TRS; perhaps I'm that little bit too young. But they all look so louche nowadays.
2) Perfect cat post :)
