"Nothing is Fixed" is the much-anticipated sequel to "The Hypocrisy of Disco". In her first book, we are told the unique somewhat Bohemian story of Clane Hayward's childhood.
In this second book, Clane does not disappoint. She literally picks up where she left off in her first book. We are taken along with her through her teens, with its rites-of-passage, and into her adulthood, including her stint in the U.S. Navy.
Clane writes so freely it is easy to be drawn into her books. She tells her story with frankness, as a matter of fact. She is no-nonsense, and makes no apologies.
I felt privileged to have read Clane's books. They have a special spot on my bookshelves.
