I'll Be Missing

I will be missing for a few days. I have been very busy with getting ready for this trip. Some of you know that I had ankle surgery last Spring. After several months, I was told it did not work. So, due to the complications, and much to my desperation and dismay, I am going to Mayo Clinic. I am hoping they can help me and correct this problem. It is amazing how you take things like walking for granted, until you can't. When I get back, please know that I have many book reviews to post. When I am not blogging, I am reading!
Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I appreciate each of you.

  5. Good luck to you! Hope they can make it better for you. I know what you mean about not knowing how much you take things for granted until you can't. I have arthritis in almost every joint in my body (thanks to my family genes) and just learned after going in for severe back pain that I have spurs in my spine that get squished when I move, hence the pain. Sending lots and lots of thoughts and well wishes to you! Big get well hugs too. :-)

  6. Angie, I feel your pain, literally. I have two artifical hips, and also both knees. It is due to congenital problems, Osteo and Rheumatoid arthritis. I try really hard to not focus on it. I really want to my life back!
