Hilary at Feeling Beachie hosts a fun blog hop every Friday.  If you send her suggestions that she uses, she will make you a Co-Host!

Here are this week’s statements:
1. I never ___ on a ____
2. ___ is my favorite holiday
3. I think my ___ is/are ___.
4. When there is a ___ I ___.

Here are my answers:
1. I never eat meat on a Friday, during Lent.
2. Easter is my favourite holiday.
3. I think my age is making me more tolerant.
4. When there is a power outage I become very frustrated

Hop over to and visit Hilary. Join in the fun!

  1. I love Easter, not only the spiritual meaning, but that it is a sign or renewal. Have a good weekend.

  2. Our laptop battery is officially dead. A new one would cost more than the old laptop is worth. So yes, not looking forward to next power outage either!

  4. Hmm, so maybe as I get older I'll become more tolerant? I'm sure everyone around me would like to see me learn that lesson sooner rather than later.

Definitely agree on the power outages. Don't like 'em. But Easter is wonderful! We don't do the eggs and bunnies, we focus on the resurrection of our Lord, and that makes it very special indeed.

    Have a great weekend!

  5. I don't like power outages either but they're not so bad in town - as opposed to when I lived in the country and had to worry about the pumphouse freezing up.

  6. Hate power outages in the Cold of Winter, and the Steaming Hot of Summer. However, I have a camper trailer in the back yard that I run to when the power goes out, it has a gas furnace in winter and A/C in Summer.

  7. I love Easter, too. The kids and I always have tons of fun decorating and coloring Easter eggs.

  9. Power outage, ugh! Last time our power was out I realized how helpless I am without it. After sending hubby a text and making sure the cats are okay, because a power outage affects them somehow, I sat down at the computer, frustrated because something was wrong with the internet...Duh! the laptop went to battery, but no power = no cable modem!
