  1. Awww - the dandelion always comes through. I've told my kids to just put dandelions on top of the casket. I love 'em.

  5. I love dandelions, they are so bright! I think it's rather unfair they've been labeled weeds!

    1. No...weeds are not always bad. People made weeds a negative thing. Perspective. Weeds can be bad if we perceive them so. They can be good if we choose to see them as wildflowers.

  7. We often see people picking dandelions (pis en lit) along the side of the lanes here in Normandy, although I've yet to eat dandelion leaves myself I'm told they are very nice in salads!

    1. When you try it, let us know! Dandelion wine is good. The greens are not bad, either. I must admit, it's been awhile. :-)

    1. Weeds have a purpose, too. They can be good or bad, and sometimes both. There is a purpose to everything.

  10. They sure are hardy plants or should I say, weeds? Either way, I've always liked dandelions.

  11. I remember eating dandelion greens when I was a child.
Gotta give the poor little thing credit for enduring this drought.
