Cecil's Cafe'

Cecil's Cafe'
located at Highways 30 & 14
Marshalltown, Iowa

An old fashioned family owned
and operated cafe' for over 50 years.
We had a nice home style breakfast
here, when we were trucking
through this area of Iowa.
The decor is simple cafe' style, focusing
on American history & hometown history.

  1. I find that those family owned restaurants have the best wholesome meals with generous portions for travellers.
Truck drivers love those truck stops.
    Have a good day.

    1. It was very cozy. The elderly gents sit & have coffee, chatting about farm & community.

    1. This Cecil's is a local diner. The local newspaper articles and family memorabilia is the decor. There are articles telling the diner history.

  8. These are the best places to eat ... Biscuits and Gravy has always been a favorite though I don't eat it much now. But, I am guessing if I went to Cecil's ... that would be on the menu :)
