Maggie & Minions

~Maggie & Minions~
Spring 2011

I need to add a few words to this picture...
Maggie was three years old when we rescued
this two day old litter of orphaned kittens.
She took to them immediately, becoming a
"nanny" to the litter, and ultimately
the "Big Sister" to Grizelda & Chloe Jo,
shown here with her.

  8. This is just the cutest baby picture of your girls! Kudos to Maggie for stepping in with TLC. I takes patience to babysit those little rascals. Sophie was the same with Tiggy and Gracie after the others departed to their new homes, and to this day she bathes and grooms them, and when Tiggy (who is now twice her size) plops down beside her, she almost audibly sighs and then lets her snuggle in. I just love this photo... don't you wish they stayed little like that forever?

  11. These three are so adorable with their black and white contrast. It's so nice when everybody gets along. AS TO MY E-MAIL BEING UNDELIVERABLE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS SINCE I'M ASSUMING THE E-MAIL CAME FROM MY GOOGLE ACCT. THAT E-MAIL WOULD GO TO MY PERSONAL ACCT. NOT MY BLOG ACCT. WHICH IS JANET.BLUE@THECATONMYHEAD.COM. BEEN TRYING TO CHANGE MY GOOGLE ACCT. TO THIS E-MAIL BUT IT WON'T ACCEPT IT. ANYWAY…THANKS FOR THE INFO ON GETTING YOUR BOOK. Janet

  12. Dear McGuffy Ann, I, too, live with a Maggie. She seems like an ex-CIA agent to me. Always checking out what's going on with everyone else in the house! I'm glad the Maggie with whom you live is such a fine elder sister. Peace.

  13. What a wonderful story!! I love to hear how all our cats came into our lives, all different and often quite dramatic.

  15. What a great story! I have some pets that would make great "mommas"...or "daddies". However I have others that, well, I hate to think what they would do. You have a very sweet girl there with Maggie!
