  7. The intro to the video is especially funny. We find we can fall asleep faster when the cats are up on the bed and purring. :)

Great facts throughout. Thank you for sharing, McGuffy Ann!

  9. That was so interesting. Mom says that it would have been nice if all the purring we did two years ago would have healed her broken leg in less than the 5 1/2 months it took. We love that it is thought to be self-medicating as well. Thanks for sharing. 10. McGuffy, we are cat people all the way. I've heard every type of purr there is, because each breed of cat seems to have a different larynx and anatomy. A had one black cat, Missy, who would lie on whatever hurt (like when I had cramps) and warm the area, as well as purring vibrations into it. Crazy as it sounds, it really helped. Thanks for an interesting link - that dude is sweet and funny! Thanks also for your good wishes on my blog - the conference was great but depressing, ha ha ha, how ironic. Posting resumes tomorrow! Peace, Amy

  12. This is a marvelous explanation of why cats purr. And I'm willing to accept it. I purr some of the time too... not for my bones, but to demonstrate solidarity with my cat.
