18 March 1968
So many stores of a horrible war. I grew up in this era. I remember school mates that had just graduated coming home in a coffin. It was horrible to say the least.May they all rest in eternal peace. :)
May we always remember these unsung heroes.
I'm grateful for our freedom and we owe it to the fallen soldiers, the veterans and those who still serve. With grateful hearts we remember their ultimate sacrifice. We also remember the hurting families left behind.May they rest in peace.HUgs,JB
Amen, my friend.
Very lovely tribute friend. We must never forget. War is such a sad thing.
We wish you all a peaceful Memorial Day. Take carex
Bless each and every one of their beautiful souls.
Is this a relative? My sister, 13 years older than me, graduated high school in 1965, and I remember her saying goodbye to friend after friend, men and women, and crying for the ones who were injured and the ones who died.
Was Sgt. Ray someone you knew? We continue to pray for those who have and continue to fight for peace and freedom. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
A very lovely tribute!
Wonderful. We are so grateful to those who gave all so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have. Happy Memorial Day.
