I hope those two weeks go by quickly!
That is a long time away from home. I hope that the two weeks will go quickly for you until Bill's Return.Hugs,JB
I can imagine you miss him! *hugs* Time flies, so these two weeks will too.
O Mrs. Mac, I don't envy you one bit. I do like being alone for a bit, but six weeks? You could change the 'days' in this song to 'weeks':Well I pulled out of Pittsburgh rolling down the eastern seaboard I've got me diesel wound up and she's running like a never before There's a speed zone ahead but all right, I don't see a cop in sight Six days on the road and I'm gonna make it home tonightI got ten forward gears and a Georgia overdriveI'm passing little white lines and my eyes are open wideJust passed a Jimmy and a White, I've been passing everything in sightSix days on the road and I'm gonna make it home tonightWell it seems like a month since I kissed my baby goodbyeI could have a lot of woman but I'm not like some of the guysI could find one to hold me me tight,But I could not make believe it's rightSix days on the road and I'm gonna make it home tonightRead more: SAWYER BROWN - SIX DAYS ON THE ROAD LYRICS (Google that, Jim)..
Time always goes slow when we're waiting for something. Hope his absence passes quickly though
Time passes quickly and he will soon be home. HUGS!!
At least you are on the back side of this. Think of the homecoming. What do you have planned. You've two weeks to figure out a great big homecoming.Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. ☺
Nice that you miss him, Ann. :)
I can't imagine a week, much less six! But time does pass quickly- he will be home before you know it!
awww. safe travels to him...
Such a long time to have to be apart, I'm glad you're 2/3 of the way thru this count, I know how eager he is to get home and spend some time with you and the girls, and now Stella too! Will be counting down the days with you, and praying him a safe journey until he arrives safely at the door!
Six weeks is a long time to be apart. Hope the time goes quickly!
Ah, I can relate to this so much. My dad's been in America working since February and he'll be home in about two weeks. I miss him so much!Thank you for the visit to my blog. I added a subscribe by email option at your suggestion :)
I'm sad for you, but glad you are on the closer side of his return.
And that's the truth ... it can never be the same without him there. Two weeks and he is home and suddenly gone again. I often think alone would be nice once in awhile, but not for the long periods you have to live with. Good that you have your girls and a few friends to help you fill the time. Sorry McGuffy ...Andrea
its so hard to be apart. Look forward to safe return.
Bless, bless, bless your precious heart. Praying you will be comforted and stay strong in this time until he returns!
awww that's such a long time! big hugs! Have a good weekend!
hang in there.. it must be so hard...
it's different for everyone, of course, but separation from those we love--especially longer separations--are definitely difficult. Hang in there.
So sorry...it is rough...take care! He is almost home!
That's two thirds gone. Time always speeds up for the last third, with preparations etc. Before you know it he'll be back.
At least you're in the home stretch :)
the two weeks will go fast! How is the new doggy doing?
Only two short weeks to go! :)
Hope you find something pleasant to pass the time. It's hard when you're missing someone.
Make lots of plans! The last time my husband spent time away, I used the time to visit friends, see places I don't normally don't go, and catch up on reading of books and watching of shows. Before I knew it, he was home. :-)PS I love the homecoming idea.
Two weeks will zoom by. Dropping by from 6WS.http://suzyspics.blogspot.co.nz/
Hope the hours pass quickly for you and you are soon reunited with your dad xx
very true......a family is complete when all are around...
Be of good cheer, my dear. Two weeks will fly by. How wonderful that you're such a loving daughter...be blessed!
That's a long time gone. I hope he gets home safely.: )
