"Basho" Tan Renga Challenge

the old pond
a frog jumps in -
the sound of water

crystal droplets glistening
reflecting light of full moon

linked to: Carpe Diem

The first stanza is the famous haiku
"the old pond", by Matsuo Basho.
The second stanza is my completion
of the Tan Renga challenge #5.

Matsuo Basho 1644-1694

  4. Good day McGuffy what a nice completion of our Tan Renga by Basho. I can feel the old pond and see it in front of me. A mysterious light reflecting in the pond. Wonderfully done. Thank you for this nice post.
And ... welcome at Carpe Diem. I am your host there. Hope to see you here again on Carpe Diem.
