Just Peachy

We acquired a peach tree
from Southern Illinois.
We planted it a couple of years ago,
when it was still quite small.
This year it literally blossomed,
both surprising and pleasing us!

The peaches are small, but very good!
Peachy!

  4. I've never picked a peach from a tree and eaten it right away, though I've had wonderful fresh peaches from farmers' markets. I'll bet nothing beats picking and eating your own, though! How about peach cobbler? With a bit of real whipped cream to top, of course. :-)

  5. I'm glad that your peach has given you some peaches. It will probably give you more as it grows bigger and stronger. Congratulations on your first peaches.

  13. Our neighbors used to have a peach tree. They were the best. That tree is smaller than what I would except to be able to bear fruit. Lucky you. Enjoy. Janet
