    1. I agree. Common sense and kindeness goes a long way with everything and everyone.

  2. We love black cats, and this is a very important message. There are some bad people out there who have it out for black kitties. :(

Our Gracie and Zoe are indoor-only cats, so they will be safe on Halloween (and every day).

  4. I had a black cat named Kitty and I would have not let her roam outside at night around Halloween, no way...
There are sick people out there who have no heart and will abuse them if given a chance.

Have a safe Halloween everyone including all kitties and dogs.
    Hugs,JB

  5. Black cats get such a bad rap! It's totally unfair. I don't know how people can be so stupid and crewl!

  6. Beautiful and precious little spirits just as all of God's creations are. Keep them in. Keep ALL kitties inside.

    1. I agree. I really wish people kept cats in all of the time. I have seen too much as a vet tech and in rescue.

  9. Will do! We try to keep Little Kitty inside during the night, but we don't have to worry about Simon because he is too scared to go outside!

  11. I don't let the boys out even into the enclosed back space on Halloween. I think Derry would be scared anyway, with the kids going by. There aren't nearly as many children now than when I first bought this place over 12 years ago, but I don't trust anyone not to poke something through the fence or throw something over it int our space, etc. Good message, let's hope the people who typically do let their cats roam will put their safety first on Thursday.
