Wise words, Annie. Thanks for the reminder! Keep 'em safe this Halloween.. and that goes for all our other critters too! :-)
I agree. Common sense and kindeness goes a long way with everything and everyone.
We love black cats, and this is a very important message. There are some bad people out there who have it out for black kitties. :(Our Gracie and Zoe are indoor-only cats, so they will be safe on Halloween (and every day).
I have no doubt you keep all of your FurKids safe!
Black cats are so pretty!
Thanks, Lynn. We agree.
This is such an important message. Thanks for the reminder!
Thanks, Dana. I appreciate your thoughts here!
I had a black cat named Kitty and I would have not let her roam outside at night around Halloween, no way...There are sick people out there who have no heart and will abuse them if given a chance. Have a safe Halloween everyone including all kitties and dogs.Hugs,JB
The same to you & yours, Julia. Hugs.
Black cats get such a bad rap! It's totally unfair. I don't know how people can be so stupid and crewl!
I don't understand abuse or cruelty in any form. It is inexcusable.
Beautiful and precious little spirits just as all of God's creations are. Keep them in. Keep ALL kitties inside.
I agree. I really wish people kept cats in all of the time. I have seen too much as a vet tech and in rescue.
I'm with you 100%, Annie! We have to protect all the precious furbabies that we can.
Thank you, Beth. Hug.
Very important msg in the video!
Indeed, it truly is. Thanks.
Will do! We try to keep Little Kitty inside during the night, but we don't have to worry about Simon because he is too scared to go outside!: )
Good job, Joseph. Protect them.
We'll all be inside on Halloween.
Safe & sound.
Awesome words...hugs from Lucy and Roxie!
Thanks. I hope you are all doing well!
I don't let the boys out even into the enclosed back space on Halloween. I think Derry would be scared anyway, with the kids going by. There aren't nearly as many children now than when I first bought this place over 12 years ago, but I don't trust anyone not to poke something through the fence or throw something over it int our space, etc. Good message, let's hope the people who typically do let their cats roam will put their safety first on Thursday.
P.S. The afternoon was uneventful, thank goodness. LOL.
I don't and will never understand human cruelty to animals or to other humans. It just makes me sick,
