Penny

Penny was known for saving money that she received in her old piggy bank. Her friends would buy candy or trinkets with their money, but not Penny. She always insisted she was saving up for something special.

On Christmas, the collection plate was passed around the crowded church. When they took the offering up to the altar, Penny quietly joined them. With a smile on her face she carried her big heavy piggy bank, now full.

"...and a little child shall lead them."~Isaiah 11:6
