Um, well...um....gee, well, ackshully...no.
I thought of you when I posted this! I understand; it is okay. ~xo~
Our crazy squirrels eat oranges. Today they hide from the frigid cold.
Our squirrels have been pretty scarce in this wicked weather, too.
Those are so funny. I love watching the squirrels in the summer running along the fence.
Thanks, Kim. I love watching them, too. They are comical.
Squirrels are little pest but so fun to watch. They have personalities and have some smarts too and I have many stories of their antics.I just love the pictures and captions today. So so cold today, I just can't warm up.Hugs,JB
They are characters. I know they can be considered as nuisance, but in reality they are doing what God made them to do. We love them. Hugs.
I actually love squirrels - they visit my back deck, and did more so when I kept birdseed out there...something I let go. I need to get some and invite them (and the birds) back to my deck!!!:)
They are entertaining. They cohabitate with birds quite well...and are misunderstood. I hope you do invite them back!
We must enjoy our little outdoor friends!
Thank you, Karen. I agree wholeheartedly.
corntent made me LOL!
I am glad you enjoyed this! He is cute.
I enjoy watching the squirrels in my front yard. They are so funny!
I think so, too. They are little clowns.
Ha - Corntent!! Love it.I read the Shakespeare quote in Alvin from the Chimpmunk's voice. heeMy kids love those guys.
Of course you read the quote like that! Glad you liked the post.
Adorable pictures of them:)
Adorable squirrel photos and love the captions ~ carol, xxxwww.acreativeharbor.com
Thank you, Carol. Hug.
Awww what a cute post. We like squirrels here and welcome their eating out of the birdseed tray on the patio. One like to tease Mario - he sits opposite Mario with the patio door between then and almost thumbs his nose at Mario, knowing Mario can't chase him.
I am not surprised that you welcome squirrels, too. I think that Chloe Jo knows how Mario feels. She almost knocks herself out watching them!
They are cute little creatures - hard to think of them as rodents.
I really like all critters, even the rodents. It is bugs that kinda' get creepy!
Hooray for squirrel appreciation! They are fun, as long as they are not in the house.
I don't think they would be happy in the house either!
How could you not enjoy them ... they are such acrobats and full of mischief. Not to mention they have very big appetites, as my feed bill will attest. And Izzi finds then to be great sport, though she can never catch them, she does try. Then they sit in the tree and scold her for the harassment. Cute, industrious and entertaining ... Great post, McGuffy :)Andrea @ From The Sol
Polly spent a lifetime trying to catch a squirrel. Chanel, however, excelled at it. But we won't go there.
What a great post for today. The first pic is my favorite as it reminds me of a squirrel that was in our yard when we lived in Portland. When the squirrel feeder was empty he would show up at the patio door. In fact one time I had the door open and a bag of peanuts sitting nearby. He came in and tried to drag the bag out the door. Happy Squirrel Appreciation Day!
Oh my! I would have loved seeing that!
I love squirrels...I love them in the bird feeders...I truly don't care and I always put a handful of nuts in a special spot for my squirrelly friends!
I am really happy you do this! So are your squirrel friends!
These photos are terrific, and the captions so funny. I almost missed out on posting 'cause I couldn't find the photos I wanted and when I did, the computer didn't want to read the card. Thanks for the adorable post. XO, Janet
I was happy to see you posted for Squirrels, too! Animals are fun. They make life worth living for me. ~xo~
I soooooooooooooooo LOVE SQUIRRELS!!!! Last year I blogged about Squirrel Appreciation Day but this year it slipped by me! Love me some squirrels!
We do this every year, as we are big squirrel lovers over here. Bill created their own area, and has some more feeders he plans to make specially for them. We have many here!
Cute photographs. Who knew squirrels like bagels.
I cannot imagine buying mine bagels, though I am sure they would eat them!
I loved this, squirrels are just delightful critters! We don't see all that many in these parts, trees being more scarce, so when we do it's a special delight. My daughter probably spends as much on squirrel food and cat food as she does on human food. She share many photos of her cats watching the squirrels at their feeder outside the window, it's adorable!
We love squirrels here. They're cute, and oh-so-fun to watch!McGuffy Ann, we wanted to say thanks for your care and concern (and purrs and prayers) for Moosey. He seems to be feeling pretty good for now ... we're just waiting for those blood tests to come back to see where we go from here...Hugs!
