Happy Groundhog Day!

  1. Ha. I still love the movie "Groundhog Day," though. :-)

BTW, for the past several years, Spring's arrival has turned out to be OPPOSITE to that predicted by the various groundhogs. So no, I wouldn't be putting much stock in any rodent's ability to predict an early or late Spring.

Or any meteorologist's either, come to think of it. LOL.

  2. I love it. Just yesterday I said that I didn't care if the Groundhog saw his shadow or not. The weather will be what the weather will be, and there is nothing we can do about that. Now, I have to admit... it may be easier to say that in Arizona than any other part of the country right now. Have a great February!

    1. I agree. I think it is funny that we rely on Ground Hogs. Go figure. Yes, Arizona is nice this time of year. Enjoy!

    1. I love it, too! But just because he is a critter. It is funny that people put the responsibility of weather on him!

  5. I just heard the forecast for a longer winter - I guess it's the same with weathermen or rodents...they each have a fifty-fifty chance of being right.

    1. There you go! I agree. But I certainly don't blame a groundhog, because we dragged him out and forced him to do this.

  6. Maybe we need rodents for weathermen... I'm hoping for an early Spring. I've had enough of the cold. Poor critters, I bet they want an early Spring too.
    Hugs,

  10. Ha! I have no idea what our little Canadian weather predictor said today. Given the size of my snowbanks, I think I'll just assume at least 6 more weeks of winter.

  15. I love it. This year we had a non-existent winter and were smugly awaiting spring when the groundhog screwed it all up - we have been having late snow ever since, hee hee.
