Thank you for your comment in my blog.Have a great weekend.
You, too, Romi!
It's always frustrating when real life gets in the way of your reading! :-)
Yes, it is...but, I get caught up sooner or later!
I too am catching up on reviews. Just finished a book and have another one coming.
It is (happily) endless!
Sounds like an interesting way to feed the heart and mind at the same time!
I'm so glad you're back. I missed you while you were away. Thanks so much for your kind words last week. They truly mean a lot. I'm very grateful for blogging friends like you. ♥
Dana, if you ever need anything, I am here. HUGS!!
My old man, a long-haul trucker, instilled and enhanced my love of reading......maps.
I think it is safe to say that Bill is not like your Dad, from comments you have made. (Bill was corporate for 35 years until the economy ended that stint.) Your Old Man taught you more than mine did me. Reading maps is a good thing. Mine was never there…ever. I guess perhaps that he taught me to rely on myself.
My father would come home for one long weekend per month. He spent the 1st half sleeping and the other half treating my mother like a truckstop waitress while complaining about what a lousy job she was doing raising the kids. Don't get me started
Ron, if you want to clarify or continue this, email me. I would be happy to resolve this with you.
P.S. Talking honestly about my wonderful, hardworking, long haul trucker husband of 33+ years is not "getting you started". I speak the truth.
There's nothing to continue or clarify. I hope you haven't misunderstood. I only meant don't get me started about my father, not truckers in general and especially not your husband. I have lots of respect for drivers, certainly meant nothing negative about Bill.
Ron, I do understand. You have a lot of pain there. So do I. Our childhoods form us, but don't define us. Friends?
What fun!!!p.s. thanks for the idea for today's post
You are welcome. I am glad I inspired you! Hug.
good for you!
Thank you, T.
Would love to catch up on reading this weekend. Enjoy!
It is going to take me awhile...it is pretty much an ongoing affair.
Since i never catch up, i guess i have job security! Enjoy the weekend!
Security is good...but, no, I never totally get caught up on reading, anyway!
I don't think I will ever be caught up on all the things I want to read! ha - and I consider that a good thing. :)
Reading is one of my greatest pleasures in life. I have too much time for reading and one day you will too. ;-)
I hope you enjoy your reading time! Happy Saturday!
Hang in there, Mrs Mac. I am glad that you got to go along.
Nice things to catch up with, I imagine. :)
Doesn't it feel great to make headway?
