"It's Not Easy Being Green"

"...It's not easy being green
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
Not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
Or stars in the sky..."
-It's Not Easy Being Green

If you don't blend in, it allows
your own beauty to stand out.

  1. I used to have a little guy I named Henry who lived under the cover of my hottub. We'd have such interesting conversations when I went out in the morning for my soak.

  5. Welcome, welcome, WELCOME to Song-ography! I am so happy you decided to jump (pardon the frog reference) in! :) Spot on observation about not blending in allows one's beauty and individuality to take center stage. So true, so true!

  9. my girls have such a love for frogs! it's crazy. the will spend hours by a nasty smelling creek, swatting bugs, crouched in the itchy grass - just in the hopes of catching one frog. LOL who they will admire for 5 minutes and then set free because they do know "free and in the wild" is the best thing. Then....they search for victim...er, frog number two. :)
I love their interest in nature.

  16. Love the little tree frog ... and there is a good reason why they blend in, as we know. There are times when standing out doesn't end well. Cute picutres, McGuffy ...

I'm having computer problems, my PC decided to have a nervous breakdown. I can finally read/comment but the operating system I'm using isn't cooperating with my photo program so no posts. I'm working on it and hope to be back up soon.

Can hardly wait for my little yard pond frogs to unbury themselves when the pond unfreezes. :)
