Friday Four Fill In #162

The "Follow Friday Four Fill-In" is hosted by Hilary at Feeling Beachie . Each week, she posts statement with blanks. Our mission, should we choose to accept, is to copy the statement and fill in the blanks on our blogs. Then link up to her blog for sharing. Hilary is always looking for co-hosts and more statements for us to fill in. Please visit her, and let her know your suggestions!

The statements & My Answers:

1. Did you know that Bald Eagles are no longer endangered or even threatened? They were removed from the lists in 2007, after being endangered for several decades due in large part to the use of pesticides. They are thriving across our nation, once again. *See The List!

2. I feel like time is passing by faster each and every day.

3. I get very upset at cases of true injustice.

4. Cool, overcast, and rainy is my favourite kind of day. I actually consider it a blessing for my birthday (which, unfortunately, is soon).

  2. I didn't know that about the bald eagles - very interesting. I love seeing them in the wild and have gotten a few good shots of them here and there. I do like an overcast day here and there - it's a good excuse to sit and relax and sip some tea while reading a good book. :)

  3. I absolutely can relate to #2 as well!

I don't think it's "unfortunate" you're having another birthday. The alternative would be that you're dead, so I suggest you celebrate with abandon! :-)

  10. Yes, I did know that about the Bald Eagle and that is one cool character in your moving picture :) I agree with all of your fill ins except the last ... rainy, not so much. Cool and overcast, I don't mind, but sunny and cool (as in the 70 degree range) that is my favorite. So far this spring, you should be very happy :) Birthday, coming soon ... hmmmm :) I think I knew that :)

  11. I did know #1 and I agree with 2-3 and a cool overcast day is second only to a cool sunny day for me. I could live with 70 degree days year round.

    1. Oh, I dread the heat. I kind of dread how Summer may evolve. Winter was so harsh.

  14. Interesting answers, Annie. I am definitely with you on #2 and #3. I did not know about the bald eagles - thank you for that info. And as for rainy, overcast days - except for the preceding migraine, I don't mind them if they only happen once in a while. In general I prefer nice, sunny weather. Have a wonderful weekend!

  18. I didn't know that the bald Eagle has been taken off the endangered list. We have a pair of eagles living in our lane for about 8 years now. Every year they have youngs.

I agree with #2 and 3. Injustice really bothers me especially what is going on in Nigeria with the kidnapping of over 300 school girls who have had their right to education taken from them. I hope that they will be safely returned home and the crazy kidnapper and his allies be arrested and brought to justice.

Happy Birthday Ann, I hope that you can think of many ways that you are grateful for being born a woman in a free country.
    Hugs,
    JB

    1. We have eagles here, again. There are a few pairs, now.
I agree about the kidnappers, and am glad that some of the girls have escaped. I am absolutely proud of living in a free country, and don't take it lightly. We have our own issues that we need to resolve, though.
