Friday Fill In Fun #172

The "Follow Friday Four Fill-In" is hosted by Hilary at Feeling Beachie. Each week, she posts statement with blanks. Our mission, should we choose to accept, is to copy the statement and fill in the blanks on our blogs. Then link up to her blog for sharing. Hilary is always looking for co-hosts and more statements for us to fill in. Please visit her, and let her know your suggestions!

The statements & My Answers:

1. If I eat too many strawberries, I get myself into trouble. I love all berries, but I have a special fondness for strawberries. *sigh*

2. Running a "pet rescue" is a great way to reach out and help critters while educating others about animals.

3. Why is it that some people tend to thrive on drama? I prefer to keep things quiet, calm and collected. Life is much less stressful, and so much more enjoyable, when things are calm.

4. Where do you like to go to reflect and collect your thoughts? I like to find a quiet place in nature, when I can. I need to quiet the noise of the busy world to hear myself. It is also easy for me to connect with God through nature.
       Have a great weekend!

  1. I've always wanted to run a pet rescue service.

I don't have any special place - as long as it's a quiet place, that's all I really need.

  7. What an adorable little turtle snacking on a strawberry. You have good answer as usual. I always felt the odd one out because I don't care much for drama either. I prefer to work in the background and keep my nose to the grind.
    Have a wonderful weekend.
    Hugs,

  8. I also wonder why we often have a fondness for something--or someone--that just isn't good for us. Love the picture of the turtle and strawberry. :) I have a couple of drama queens in my life--one is elderly--sometimes I just have to have a time out from them.

  10. I know so many people who seem to thrive on drama. Not us. We love calm, quiet and a routine!

  11. Running a pet rescue is also difficult! That's why we are a foster home and help out at the rescue regularly. It's worth every moment, too.

  12. Oh my gosh, I love that little turtle and the strawberry!

If you could see my house at the right time (when I have fosters) you might think I was running a cat rescue. I work closely with our local humane society.

I don't get out in nature as much as I would like. Instead I sit in my living room and listen to scampering little paws. It is actually quite relaxing....well for a few moments anyhow. :)

I like peace and calm too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog post earlier.

  15. I have issues with strawberries too -- and I love that little turtle picture! so cute.
I definitely seek out Nature when I need to quiet the noise in my brain. And if I can't do that, then music always helps too.

  21. Oh yes, I love all berries, too. All of them mixed and the more, the better.
I agree with your other answers, too. I love me a quiet place to reflect and nature is very good for that. My preferred place is sitting on a lonely beach overlooking the ocean. The sound and smell are like nowhere else.

I wonder about #3 too - life is hard enough without drama, but some seem to enjoy it. I never understood that.
