A Renaissance Man

Robin Williams will be missed for the many talents
that he generously shared with several generations.

He was a true Renaissance Man.

It is with a heavy heart that I join others in
wishing both him and his loved ones "Peace".

Thank you for the laughter & the joy,
Robin Williams.

  1. You chose two wonderful clips. Greatly saddened to hear this news earlier. I will always remember his astounding talent, the joy we felt through his laughter and tears from his dramatic work. He truly was one of a kind.

  2. So true and I agree with everything Denisein VA said....except for some reason, I can't see the videos! I'll try again later.

    1. Video #1, Robin & Elmo, Sesame Street:
Video #2, Dead Poet's Society, "What Will Your Verse Be?":

  3. I am sure the videos will appear on a laptop/PC. Your words are important...he was a great talent that loneliness took far too soon!...:)JP

  4. I feel so saddened that a man who brought laughter and joy to millions was unable to find it himself.

  5. still gutted. Dead Poet's Society had such a profound impact on me. And then, he could make me laugh harder than anyone else on the planet.
    I'm so sad.

  6. So very tragic. Rest in peace, Robin Williams, and thank you for giving so much joy and laughter to so many.

  7. It was such a shock to hear the news early this AM, when I got up. I'm especially saddened because I spent several years struggling with daily thoughts of suicide until I realized I had a problem and got help. It's absolutely tragic that Robin Williams was too far down into the black hole for even a tiny pinprick of hope for better days, that this seemed the best, the only solution. I hope his troubled soul is at peace.

  8. Oh I know...it is so hard to imagine him being gone from this earth...we never know what someone else might be going through. Depression and addiction are two very sad, dark places to be. I hope he has found peace...finally.

  9. So much hurt, so much grief. It makes me especially sad for his family, who would have done anything for him.

  10. I'm heartbroken ... for him, his family, and for the world that loved him.

  11. Truly a huge loss to all of us who appreciated his keen and quick wit and ability to make us both laugh and cry. I pray for his family. Hugs, Janet

  12. I was shocked by the news. He was loved by so many, me included. So sad for his family too. I hope that his death helps remove the stigma of mental and that more people will be helped before it's too late.

  13. The world has lost a funny, kind and talented man. It broke my heart when I heard the news. Even though he made some great movies Robin Williams will always be Mork to me.
