Someone needs to pretty that car up! I think my dad had one of those when I was a baby.
Those classics sure lasted a long time.Have a great day!
Cool Ride say´s my mom-person :)My dad-person have a Chevrolet Impala from 1959.
Look at that body, still no rust after all these year. They really made cars that lasted way back then. All it needs is some restoration and that car would purr like a kitten. I know of someone who restores old cars and he drives them.Hugs,JB

I just bet that has some mighty engine in it!
There are lots of car collectors that would love having this car.

Neat, but too bad it isn't a hardtop! Tom The Backroads Traveller
Got my drivers license in '59 ... two years later, my Dad found one of these in a junkyard (turquoise!!), rusted out here & there, but it was my "first car" ... to drive to/from the community college. In spite of all the rust, wish I still had her ........
Oh the Fifties just produced the best stuff...people included.
And it's even bi colored!
Oh I bet if someone restored that, it would be a real beauty!! such a classi - how sad to end up that way.

My favorite is the 1956 Chevy Nomad station wagon. I will answer your most recent e-mail tomorrow. Hugs, Janet

Cool car!! Let's go for a ride!
I'm back in my childhood. My uncle had a 55 chevy in that sort of aquamarine blue they used to have. I remember my cousin and I sliding around the back seat any time my uncle turned a corner...before the seatbelt was mandatory. My, but we lived dangerously back then. :) It was already a 10 year old car by that time, but still with all that awesome chrome and distinctive fins.
Cool old car. It needs a new paint job and it would be sylin' Great find!
