Feed a Cold

It was nice having Bill home, but he is back on the road, now. Please be patient as I try to get back into my posting and visiting routine. I have picked up a bad cold (as if there is a good one?), and am very miserable trying to get over it. Thankfully, I think Bill was able to escape this dreaded "bug".

I hope you are safely enjoying the chaotic busy Christmas season. Please be careful when you are traveling the roads, especially in this wintery weather. Keep a safe distance from trucks, and do not pass on their right. Remember: it takes trucks longer to get up to speed, and it takes them longer to slow down, too. Give truckers respect and room, for your safety and theirs, too. Keep in mind: just as you have loved ones waiting for you, so do those truckers.

Stay safe and warm...*sniffle*...and healthy!

  3. ...feel better soon.

Maybe you're the one to ask this...
A couple of weeks ago, a semi truck got jammed under an overpass. The haul he was carrying was too tall off the flatbed. And weakened the overpass...now, who has to pay for the repair work? Just curious.

  14. Such a cute photo, such a sad reality. I wish you weren't sick, that is no fun at all! I hope you begin to feel much better soon. I am glad you were able to have Bill home for a few days, I know how much you treasure those all-to-brief times together. Prayers for his continued safety, and for all those out on the road travelling during this season, and prayers for your healing too! XOXO
