Picture Book

Violet sat looking at the big photograph album that was made especially for her. She turned the pages slowly and carefully. There were pictures of weddings, newborn babies, holiday celebrations, and so much more.

Violet enjoyed the beautiful picture book, even though she felt a bit sad. She wished she could remember who these people were.

  1. That is not the ending I expected. Made my heart hurt! I pray I don't end up there. Please join us tomorrow for Mother's Day Sunday Selfies. Love and hugs, Janet

    1. I like to show life as it really is. To make people think and feel is important. I must admit, I like to pen unpredictable endings, too.

  2. Excellent! I inherited a book that looks just like that from my great aunt. Sadly, I don't know who some of the people in the photos are.

  6. A sad story... Memory fails us at time but for some it's gone for ever... for me I remember faces but I have a difficult time remembering names of people I used to know. The names seems to be in the back of my mind and they come back long after I was trying to remember. Life is way too busy and our head is way too full.
    Hugs,
    JB

  7. It is sad to know people you love have lost their memories this way. And it's a great reason to write down who is in the photos while you remember, and if you make a scrapbook, write names under the pictures!
