Summer Daze

Summer is a busy time. Many people take this time off to travel, spend time with family, or catch up on things. I can certainly understand that. It has been busy here, too.  There is so much to do.

The minions are growing very fast, and will soon be on their way to their forever homes. They have been a blessing to us, adding a lot of love and fun to our home. It is truly a privilege to care for them.

Bill just had a few days of home time, which is always precious to us. This time we were able to share it with family. Bill's sister and brother-in-law came for a visit. They live quite a distance from us, so we are not able to get together very often. Stella was very happy to have a guest, too, as they also brought their dog. It was a very nice visit for everyone.

So, that is where I have been the last several days. Life gets busy, and some things cannot wait.  Please know that even when I don't post, I try to read what you do. I enjoy your posts and the friend connections that I have here in the "Blogosphere". Thanks for being there. I appreciate it, and each of you. Hugs.

  1. So nice that you got family visit and Bill was home. I certainly understand that family should always come first. The minions are sweet and it's so nice that they will have someone to care for them for the rest of their furry lives, leaving you free to rescue another family of Minions.

Have a great week Anne and I hope that you have some nice weather.
    Hugs,
    JB

  4. It would be happy to spend time with our family members. I love to spend time with them rather sitting idle. So will be waiting for vacations...

  6. Sounds like a really perfect summer for you. I know the part of letting the little darlings go will be rather bittersweet. When my children were growing up we had three mama cats that always had litters at the same time, and even then it was sad saying good-bye and not having them playfully around. But at the same time they must move on to make other families happy too!

  10. It is amazing how fast they grow, ours are big but we can't send them to the shelter to be adopted until they are totally free of the ringworm they came with.

Glad you enjoyed your husband being home, and i hope he gets back again soon!
