Christmas Guest

A snow storm raged outside, but for Faith, it was just another Christmas Eve alone.

As she prepared her meager supper, she suddenly heard frantic scratching. When she opened the door, an old thin cat rushed in, ice crystals clinging to his long silver fur.

Sitting near the warmth of the fireplace, Faith shared her supper with the hungry cat. Afterwards, as she stroked the old cat in her lap, Faith gave thanks for the gift of her Christmas guest.

  11. Very sweet, Annie. It isn't Christmas yet, but we have had a kitty guest all last week. We call her Sailor. I think she is the New Neighbor's cat but if they don't take better care of her she is going to have a new home!
