Go a Little Nuts Today

Squirrels are cute, clever little critters.

They really don't ask for much,

and are content with simple things.

Squirrels do know what they like.

They are true to themselves.

We can learn a lot from critters.

Happy Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Here are some fun facts to help you

  2. Squirrels are fun to watch but after a while they get over populated in the area as they can live for about 18 years. Between me and my neighbours we have relocated 56 squirrels last years and I still see a pair walking the wires. They have caused a lot of $$$ damage to our house and feeders, even my gas tank for the lawn mower but they are darn cute...
Apparently today is National Hug Day, so consider yourself well HUGED.

  7. Annie, I absolutely cannot believe that I actually missed Squirrel Appreciation Day again this year. These are all terrific and made be smile. I had a great photo for SAD. I think I'll have to use it for Caturday Art. Sending lots of warm hugs. We are hunkered down waiting for this huge storm to begin. XO, Janet

  9. LOL. I love watching them scurry around the backyard, trying to find their nut hiding places in the snow. ha. they run along the top of my fence, which is very thin - and yet I have never seen one fall! Despite the cats VERY rapt attention from the window. :)
