Mayo & Me

I am away from home this week. Bill and I have been at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN). We are looking into finding resolution for some of my health issues. What was supposed to have taken a couple of days is taking much longer than we thought it would. Mayo is very thorough.

I will explain all of this once I am back home. I hope everyone is safe, warm, and well. Take care of your loved ones...and yourself. Hugs!

  5. You are in my old neck of the woods and if I was still there i would be popping up to meet you in person. Mayo is absolutely the best place to be to get things figured out so I am very glad that you are there. Take care of yourself and I hope you get some answers. Prayers.

  14. I hope they can find the answers to the health issues you're having. Mayo is an interesting and busy place, isn't it. I was there in December, where the doctor determined that my hip replacement needs to be redone. He's booked til June. But they're the best in the world and worth the wait. I'll be praying for you and your doctors. PS. There are amazing dark chocolate truffles sold in a little shop on the below ground floor. :-)

  18. We have never met, but mum and I want to wish you all the best. Mum went to Mayo in Scottsdale, AZ a couple of years ago. She had to rent a car for 2 days cos it was the cheapest way to get there; then a couple of weeks later she had to rent a car again to go back for results. The appointment took about 15 minutes for the doc to tell her they had not found any new treatment etc., suggested she go there for their hand and back doctors and that was it. Mum is very satisfied with the docs she has in Tucson, and it is not worth renting a car every time she needed to see the doc!!!!

    Anyway, good luck
