So...let's share our thoughts! Here are my completed statements:
1. The best money I ever spent was used to help someone in a positive way and the worst was when it was used to enable someone in their own poor choices. I learned that sometimes “tough love” is the only answer.
2. My most memorable vacation was with Bill and Maisie at Lake Gogebic. We went fishing and enjoyed several natural and historical sites, including waterfalls and “The Porkies”.
Presque Isle Falls, MI. (2003)
3. It is a truly heartfelt thing when a dog greets you after you have been away. No one greets you quite the way as a dog does…no one.
4. Once, I did not return a stray dog to its possible owner. I always look for the owner of strays. This dog had no collar and this was long before microchips. When I thought I may have found the original owner, I asked questions about the dog he was looking for. It seemed that this may be a match. However, the person then went on to complain that the dog was nothing but a problem, barking, always running away, and that he really hated it, saying that he hoped it never came home. When I asked why he was looking for it, he replied that he had spent a lot of money on it and that was the only reason. So, when he asked if I had his dog, I said, “No. It isn’t your dog.” I quickly hung up, and left the dog the dog in the new home where everyone was happy.
~May you find some happiness in your day.~
