Solstice

The sun sets slowly,
it’s warmth clinging to
shadows and beyond,
seeping into tomorrow,
dragging yesterday along,
melting days into nights
in endless sustenance.

*Be sure to enjoy tonight's Strawberry Full Moon.

  1. Lovely image and poem, Annie. Tonight is the Strawberry moon as the full moon falls on the same day as the Summer Solstice. I think the news said that won't happen again untie 2062. I'll have to check it out tonight, as I suspect I won't be around then. Hope Bill had a great Father's Day yesterday. Please convey my best wishes. Love and hugs, Janet
