  10. We absolutely love, love, love your new header. That is beautiful. Yes, black cats are awesome. Even Black and White kitties, like me, have a tough time being adopted.

  11. Awwww, CUTENESS! I've never owned a black cat I didn't love! (Three have graced my world with their presence.)

  12. Black cats are beautiful sleek and sinewy. I have three. Jade, Smolder and Arrow. Arrow is as wild as they come. Smolder is a big long goofball love, who rarely comes into the house, but prefers the cat yard. But Jade, she is a dear, dumped pregnant, possibly thrown from a car because her feet are flat and damaged, and had kittens in a filthy corner of the wrong garage. She is graceful and diplomatic and full of constant joy and fills my heart with happiness.

  13. Some people use the archaic superstition about black cats as an excuse to harm them. Halloween is one of my favorite days as it's the one day of the year that I don't stand out. However, people need to remember to be sure to keep black cats inside on Halloween due to evil people using this superstition as an excuse to hurt harmless animals.
My best friend in the world was a little black cat. I miss my Lafayette every day.
