  1. Gene Wilder has been a favourite of mine since childhood, as an actor and as a human being. I loved him in every role he played onscreen and have many memories attached to his movies.
RIP, Gene Wilder. Thank you. ❤

    1. I too loved Gene Wilder and especially his wife Gilda Radner. When I heard he had passed, the first thing I said to Tom was that he was now with his beloved Gilda. Tom looked at me like I was crazy, but that night on the National news, the anchor said the same thing. He may have had four wives, but he found his one true love in her.

    1. Gene Wilder battled non-Hodgkins lymphoma for several years. His family has stated he died from complications from Alzheimer's, however.

  6. A wonderful entertainer, another great talent that we grew up with who has left the building and headed Home. May he rest in peace.

  9. Although I didn't know Gene Wilder, I will miss both the actor and the person. He was one of those rare sorts, a decent and open minded soul.

  10. It was so sad to hear of his death. I can't even imagine what life for him was like with Alzheimer's. The only redeeming thought is that now he and Gilda are together again.
