    1. That is what I thought! *ha* And this is a shorter one, too. Our fence is 6'. This sunflower is actually about 7', but some are 9'! One year we had some over 13'!

  3. Is the grass really greener on the other side? This amazing sunflower seems to be pondering, or wishing it could go on a walkabout! 😊

    1. Nope...grass is just grass. Ours is organic, too. I love how sunflowers provide beauty and then sustenance. Bill harvests some of the heads to put in places that make it easier for some critters to find.

  5. I love how that flower hangs over the fence. Such a great gift to the birds when the seeds are ripe.
    Have a great day.

  6. What an amazingly huge sunflower. I saw a few like that around here this year. Of course, ours were food for marmots. Sending lots of love and hugs, Dearest Annie. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
