The Slip-up

Lying flat on his back on the cold ground, Nick heaved a heavy sigh. He looked up at the twinkling stars, as pain shot through his back.

He thought about the many years he had been doing this job without a single accident. Now, here he was, injured with no health insurance.

It was bound to happen, though: parking a sleigh on a slippery roof was tricky business!
