The Difference

She knew that it can be good or bad that when things are different. Things can be better than we anticipated. However, things can be worse than we ever imagined.

This was the reason she believed that time can make all the difference. In her heart, she was at peace that time is fueled by hope.

  1. Nicely written. To feel at peace even in uncertainty we really needs to be fueled by hope or surrender.

    1. Wow...I could not agree more with you. I am a firm believer in acceptance over understanding. You do not have to know everything to accept something. Sometimes that makes the difference. HUGS!

  2. Nicely written. I collect things that say HOPE, mainly Christmas ornaments, but I have a little angel in my purse named Hope too.

  4. I'm an overanxious worrier about everything. I envision worst case scenarios, but I've learned that things are rarely as bad as we're afraid they might be. I have to remind myself that I can handle whatever comes and I run through the worst that can happen to prove to myself that I CAN handle the worst.

  7. I can relate to this. There was a time when hope seemed a mirage but when it became reality I could say "all is well with my soul" and know nothing in time could change it. Thank you for sharing your story with In Other Words.

  8. This speaks to me so powerfully, Annie. Different is, well, different in all seasons, isn't it?

  9. Mmmm, Hope. Not something to be trapped in your pocket - but carried before you like the beacon it is. :)
