Blooming

The orphaned newborn kitten was very sickly from the start. Unable to breathe, she had to be fed with a syringe every 1-2 hours.

Slowly, like a delicate flower, the kitten began to blossom. Her funny little ways filled heart and home with expanding love and joy.

And, so her name became Chloe, which means “blooming”.

  9. Feeding a new born kitty isn't easy and demands around the clock frequent feeding. You did a great job and Chloe was lucky to have you to take care of her. Poor little kitty.

  11. OMC...Annie, Chloe Jo was unbelievably precious. She looks like an itty bitty bear. Thank you so much for sharing this baby photo. We had a kitty named Chloe, but I didn't know the meaning of the name, I just liked it. It was the purrfect name for your sweet girl. Sending love, hugs and prayers, Janet

  12. How precious! You never cease to move me.

And I must remark on your friendly comment upon my blog. As for being called a grown woman, it was an empowerment by my partner to encourage my will. If I want to do something, I should. ~nods~ I should give more credit where credit is due. I just lament the pithy attitude, which is wrong. Support is support. We've never been typically romantic.
