Kaleidoscope of Sound: N

Bill said, "We're halfway through my "Kaleidoscope of Sound". So, its intermission time, with some comic relief. These guys really added a lot of creative fun to "Laverne and Shirley". No one makes sitcoms like this anymore. However, these two actually made an album. In 1979, they were even on American Bandstand! Michael McKean later went on to make the mockumentary "This is Spinal Tap", which is a cult classic. Sit back and enjoy a good laugh!"

  1. Bill,

You're absolutely right no one makes sitcoms like this anymore. What a fun video! Michael McKean (Lenny) plays on the show Better Call Saul. His role is as a serious, stiff neck, slightly crazy (he believes he's electromagnetic hypersensitive to electricity and batteries) attorney. Anyhwo, it's a great series. I miss watching these old sitcoms, though. In the 70s and 80 and most of the 90s the writers were spot on in the comic relief department. Nowadays it's just stupid, embarrassing, stuff. Thanks for sharing and have a good day!

  2. Oh my, I hadn't seen this in ages and had completely forgotten about it. I used to watch a lot of TV then and it was free and so many good programs but my favorite was Carol Burnett. My daughter bought me bunch of DVDs for the Carol Burnett show.

    Have a great week.
    Hugs, Julia

  3. Michael McKean has brought me a lot of joy over the decades. He was fabulous in "Best in Show" and very funny in a food history program. I should see if we can set it to record on our DVR, come to think of it. ~grin~ Be well!

  9. Hysterical! You're right, Bill. They don't make them like that anymore.

And Spinal Tap is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's a real classic!
