  4. Beautiful tree (I so love trees), and the perfect house for a critter family.

That reminds me that I recently heard the tree in "Shawshank Redemption" was toppled in a storm. I just Googled and saw it had been damaged in 2011 (also a storm). Sad to see those glorious Elder Trees go. I think I must have been a tree sprite in another lifetime. :-)

  7. Annie, Does something really live in it? You don't see too many trees with nice openings like this much. Great capture!

  8. Looks like a home fit for the imagination. Reminds me of the reading I just finished about AA. Milne and E. H. Shepperd. They took inspiration for stories and illustration for the Winnie the Pooh stories from trees such as this among other things.

  9. Great photo, Annie. And such an imagination-inspiring, two-word prompt. It lakes me wonder whose house that tree is? :)

  16. That is great, Annie. Have you seen any critters or birds using that for their home? We have some squirrels in the park near here that have found great places like that. Sending you prayers, hugs and all my love, Janet
