  1. I have a cooling mat under the shelving on the deck where they like to lay since that is carpeted...something I'd like to change soon and have tile or Trex installed.

Down here they sell little booties for the dogs to use since the blacktop can reach 127 degrees. It's not uncommon to see dogs in the stores (even without the therapy jackets) as you simply cannot leave them in the car for even a few minutes. On the news last night they showed how to bake cookies in the car. Hmmm, the car as an oven, whodda thunk.
I love the treats in the icicle for the dogs, my grand dog would love that!
And I will getting an ice cube tray prepared for the cat treats as well. These were great ideas.

  2. Wonderful ideas! It's been okay here so far, in fact it's raining again right now. Because I have a day off! One of dearest friends moved to Arizona and they are having some brutal heat!

  8. I always put ice cubes in the kitties water dishes. Wonder if any of mine would let me cool their belly and paws with a wet cloth. Thanks for the tips. Love, hugs and prayers, Janet
