Blessings

Troubles may seem many, blessings may seem few;
to see beyond the obvious is sometimes hard to do.
But, stop and see the forest in each and every tree.
Precious blessings abound when you look and really see.

  1. Very true. Sometimes we need to be reminded to stop and look for the blessings in life.

    1. Thanks, Ellen. I love bluejays for their feistiness. Our Rose of Sharon always attracts the cardinals to nest. I love seeing them raise babies. XO

  12. So true. So many times, I hear people complaining about not being happy and not having x, y, or z. But the thing is ... that even when they get x, y, or z, they are STILL unhappy and want a, b, and c. Recognizing what one has is the key to happiness. If you can't be happy with what you have right now - you will never be happy. It's not a lack of material things - but an inability to appreciate what one has.
