Lovely photo and poem! Thank you for brightening my day. It's good advice, too, and needed as I sit wondering about some of my life choices. ~grin~ Who doesn't question 'what ifs' now and then?
I am glad this spoke to you. It is normal and good to contemplate our lives and its events. We each have a journey. I think we are meant to learn and share our lessons. It is how we grow...and even thrive. Hugs.
"Bloom where you are planted" is one of my favorite lines, Ann.
I think it is a lesson learned. Sadly, some people focus only on the rain. To grow, you need to fully embrace the sunshine. That is where you take root.
Beautiful and wise!
Thank you. I am glad you like this. Hugs.
Lovely, my friend!
Thank you, Beth. I appreciate you. Hugs.
These are so lovely! I used to have four rose bushes, I sure miss their blooms. I know it's time to replace them. Yours posted here are just like the ones I had!
These are really wild roses. They grow in Bunny Meadow near me. They always make me feel good about life. Hugs.
So well stated. The last line really struck me. We all need to remember to do this. Beautiful roses as well. I can almost smell them. Sending lots of love, hugs and prayers, Janet
Thank you, my friend. I believe this poem to my very core. Hugs.
Your photo is beautiful. These roses are such a breathtaking color! This really is a thought provoking poem. I like "God’s pleasure is granted." He does plant us, and it's important to bloom and do His will!
I agree. It is not easy, as life can be hard. But, the blessings are there to help us along. Thanks, Annie Bear. ❤
Thank you! Lovely picture and beautiful thought.
Beautiful. I love the saying, bloom where you are planted. XO
I do, too. These wild roses do exactly that. Beauty in a wild place, choked by invasive weeds. It thrives. We should, too.
The photo is beautiful and the words are wise.
Beauty and wisdom all in one lovely post. Happy Monday.
