Thrive

Wild roses grow amongst the weeds;
God’s pleasure is granted.
He plants the seeds:
bloom where you’re planted.

  1. Lovely photo and poem! Thank you for brightening my day. It's good advice, too, and needed as I sit wondering about some of my life choices. ~grin~ Who doesn't question 'what ifs' now and then?

    1. I am glad this spoke to you. It is normal and good to contemplate our lives and its events. We each have a journey. I think we are meant to learn and share our lessons. It is how we grow...and even thrive. Hugs.

    1. I think it is a lesson learned. Sadly, some people focus only on the rain. To grow, you need to fully embrace the sunshine. That is where you take root.

  5. These are so lovely! I used to have four rose bushes, I sure miss their blooms. I know it's time to replace them. Yours posted here are just like the ones I had!

    This really is a thought provoking poem. I like "God’s pleasure is granted." He does plant us, and it's important to bloom and do His will!

    1. I do, too. These wild roses do exactly that. Beauty in a wild place, choked by invasive weeds. It thrives. We should, too.
