Answers

Time never stops, though it lulls us
into submission, allowing us to believe
that we have caught even a moment
in which to find ourselves.
Age teaches us the intangible things
that elude us in our youth.
Questions find answers.
Sense is made out of years.
Through age we finally realize
that it isn’t the questions
that ever really mattered,
but rather the answers,
and what we do with them.

Interesting... am not entirely sure the answers always come, though acceptance of this does come with age! YAM xx

  2. I totally agree with your creativity!! In my "older" years, Annie, I have discovered that answers just seem t "happen"...answers to old questions. Age is definitely a time for wisdom...:)JP

  3. Yes. Having the right answer and doing what’s right with it are two different things.

  5. This is wonderful.....and I think only aging allows us to appreciate - truly - just how perfect your words "fit together" - the answers were the important thing all along but when we're young we're full of questions. Thanks for reminding me there are a lot of GOOD things about maturity!

    Love, Pam

  7. Annie, that is an excellent poem. I am still looking for so many answers, and most of the questions begin with "why?" I do admit
I probably find it easier to find answers as I have aged. Sending you bunches of warm hugs and love, Janet
